چکیده
In order to explore the effects of different concentrations acid rain on soil nutrient content and utilization efficiency, provide a basis for an improvement in acidified regions, year-long experiment was conducted typical evergreen broad-leaved forest coniferous mixed Jinyun Mountain Chongqing. Four pH treatments (pH 4.5, 4.0, 3.25, 2.5) were established simulate rain. The results showed that: (1) Acid promoted accumulation nutrients, contents organic carbon (SOC), total nitrogen (TN), hydrolyzed (HN) significantly increased during (p < 0.05). (2) Soil SOC positively correlated with concentration 0.01), HN negatively concentration, TN phosphorus (TP) not concentration. (3) activities sucrase, urease, phosphatase 0.01) activity cellulase 0.01). (4) enzyme changed differently, depending study period. (5) According RDA analysis, had significant Conclusions: did alter overall but reduced available seriously inhibited activity—most notably, enzymes involved efficiency.

A laboratory experiment was performed to examine the impact of simulated acid rain (SAR) on nutrient leaching, microbial biomass, and microbial activities in a lateritic red soil in South China. The soil column leaching experiment was conducted over a 60-day period with the following six SAR pH treatments (levels): 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 and one control treatment (pH = 7). Compared wi...
متن کاملEffects of Simulated Sulfuric Acid Rain on Crop Plants
Since relatively little is known about the effects of acid precipitation on growth and productivity of crop plants, a crop survey was initiated to study effects of H 2SO 4 rain simulants on growth, yield, and quality of selected crops which were chosen to represent diverse taxo nomic groups and crop products. Yield responses of 28 crop cultivars were examined. Plants were grown in pots in field...
متن کاملActivity of earthworm in Latosol under simulated acid rain stress.
Acid rain is still an issue of environmental concerns. This study investigated the impacts of simulated acid rain (SAR) upon earthworm activity from the Latosol (acidic red soil). Laboratory experiment was performed by leaching the soil columns grown with earthworms (Eisenia fetida) at the SAR pH levels ranged from 2.0 to 6.5 over a 34-day period. Results showed that earthworms tended to escape...
متن کاملSoil loss and runoff generation in rangeland, rain-fed and abandoned rain-fed agriculture land-uses under simulated rainfall
Soil erosion is a global challenge, seriously threatening soil and water resources andenvironmental qualities. One of the important factors to consider in the process of runoffgeneration and soil erosion is the physical and chemical properties of soils under differentland-uses. The aim of this study is to estimate soil erosion and runoff in rangeland, rain-fedand abandoned rain-fed agriculture ...
